Victorian Chest of Drawers

With all the rich colour options to choose from with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint, I often lean towards a bolder colour palette. And then comes along a piece that you just know deserves a softer shade. This charming Victorian chest of drawers is petite and delicate, and has been transformed into a romantic play on that traditional farmhouse look. She sits on top of beautifully carved legs, with dovetail joints and unique carved detailing on drawer fronts. Topped with a swivel mirror secured to harps (shown in additional photos). All very customary details for the 1920’s.

The drawer sides have been painted in a beautiful Damask with floral accents for a romantic surprise to the piece.

The original wooden top, legs and knobs remain original and untouched.
